Free November Litany of Saints Download and Feast Day Resources

November is dedicated to the Holy Souls. This is a special season in the liturgical year to set aside time to pray for the your deceased family and friends. Praying for the dead is a spiritual work of mercy. Here are some ways to pray for the dead:

• pray the Eternal Rest prayer when you pass a cemetary or when you think of your deceased loved one
• ​pray the St. Gertrude prayer​
• pray for them at Mass
• have Masses offered for them
• visit their grave, spruce it up or clean it, and pray for them
• take a rosary walk in a cemetary and offer your prayers for the dead buried there
• clear a space – such as a home altar, small table, or other cleared surface – and display photos of loved one, and pray for them when you pass by
• have a candle lit (either real or LED) and pray for deceased family and friends when you pass by it

Advent also begins this month on November 29th.

I also have a new “Litany of Saints” for you this month. This litany can be prayed after praying the rosary, after Night Prayer, before or after Mass, or any time you wish. Be sure to visit the Divine Office app or website or Butler’s Lives of Saints (use the magnifying glass in the upper left by the book to search for the saint) to read about the saint for the day.
