Confessions of a Former Witch
By Anonymous
It’s so important to realize that there are real ways that we can potentially invite demons right through our front door. New Age practices are extremely common, and many people think they are harmless. In Confessions of a Former Witch, the anonymous author (kept anonymous for her and her family’s protection) explains the allure and dangers of the occult, as well as her path to true freedom in Jesus Christ.
Even though this book is, at its heart, a memoir and profound conversion story, I think that it also serves as a helpful guidebook to bring awareness to the dangers of the occult and New Age.
The Three Works of Reparation: God’s Divine Mercy for Our Times
by Belinda Terro Mooney
In Belinda Terro Mooney’s book, The Three Works of Reparation: God’s Divine Mercy for Our Times, she explains the importance, history, and spiritual fruits of reparation to the Holy Face as well as how we can make reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I wish I had Belinda’s book to help me enter into the Holy Face devotion even more when we were participating in the novena, and I think it’s a great guidebook for Catholics today who are interested in the important practice of making reparation.

Our Lady of Champion: The Amazing Investigation of a Visitor from Heaven
By Theoni Bell
Our Lady appeared to Adele Brice (rhymes with “Greece”) in Champion, Wisconsin in 1859. Her message was an important one for parents and catechists: to pray for the conversion of sinners and teach children their catechism. The story of the apparition as well as the investigation into its validity is absolutely fascinating. It took over 100 years to be approved, but now Our Lady of Champion is an approved apparition! Theoni Bell’s new book Our Lady of Champion: The Amazing Investigation of a Visitor from Heaven includes the entire process and is the perfect resource for children ages 9 and up to learn about this miraculous story.
Stowaway to Saturn
by Karina Fabian
This book was enjoyed by everyone ages 10 and up in our house! A little science fiction, a lot of adventure, and lots of growth in Catholic virtue – this book will entertain and teach both Catholic boys and girls.
