9 Easter Drawing Prompts for Catholic Kids
Christ is risen! Alleluia! Keep the Easter celebration going for all 50 days with these Catholic, Easter-themed drawing prompts.Â
This free ebook contains drawing prompts for each of the 8 Sundays of Easter (from Easter Sunday to Pentecost) as well as a prompt for Ascension Thursday (although some diocese move this feast to the 7th Sunday of Easter).Â
The prompts are based off of the gospel readings for each Sunday in Easter.Â
Your child can draw in a sketchbook, or you use blank printer paper, punch 3 holes in them and keep the artwork in a 3-ring binder or folder with brads. If you or your children enjoy bible journaling, you may find the gospel passages for each Sunday and draw directly in your bible.Â
Easily find the passages on this calendar from the USCCB. For younger children, you can give them a piece of construction paper to make their artwork. Feel free to display your child’s artwork all throughout Easter as well! You may wish to google images with your child for inspiration. By the end of Easter, you will have a nice collection of artwork by your child! You child may use any media he or she chooses for his or her drawings. Try sketching, watercolors, or even fingerpainting for young children!
What are the 8 Sundays of Easter?
The First Sunday of Easter is Easter Sunday.
The Second Sunday of Easter is Divine Mercy Sunday.

Ascension Thursday
